Day 5: Delphi - Corinth Canal - Epidaurus - Mycenae - Nafplion. Overnight in Nafplion      

Days 6-8: Nafplion - Athens - Mykonos. End coach tour, transfer by high speed/ferry for 3 nights in Mykonos

Start Classical Greece Tour: Athens – Kalambaka/Meteora: 365kms (Amalia hotel 4* - 1 night)

Depart in the morning for the small town of Kalambaka. Free time upon arrival. In the afternoon, continue to scenic Meteora, a unique geological formation of spectacular isolated peaks that provided refuge to monks. Visit 2 ancient monasteries in Meteora. Overnight in Kalambaka (BB/D)


Wed/24 MAY:

Kalambaka – Delphi (Amalia hotel 4* - 1 night) (260kms)/This could be changed to Arachova/Anemolia 4* - 1 night (depending on tour occupancy/capacity.

Depart for Delphi. Free time upon arrival in the early afternoon. Explore the famous archeological site and visit the Archaeological Museum of Delphi, home of the renowned oracle. Of all the ancient Greek sites, Delphi is one of the most captivating. Overnight in Delphi or Arachova. (BB/D)


Thurs/25 MAY:

Delphi/Arachova – Antirrio – Olympia – Nafplion (455kms): Amalia Hotel 4* (2 nights)

Depart for the Rio-Antirrio Bridge, a cable-stayed bridge that links Peloponnese to continental Greece, and stop for photos. Then, head to Olympia to visit the site and museum in the afternoon. Continue to Nafplion, tinged with Italian influences and dominated by 2 fortresses: Acronauplia and Palamidi. Overnight in Nafplion. (BB/D)


Fri/26 MAY:

Nafplion – Epidaurus – Mycenae – Corinth Canal – Athens (Lavrion)/(228 kms).

End Classical Greece Tour and embark cruise ship for 7 night cruise

Depart for the region of Argolis and historic Epidaurus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its theatre is renowned for acoustics so perfect that, even after 23 centuries, you can hear a coin drop on the stage from the back row. Visit Mycenae, the kingdom of Agamemnon. Stop for photos of the impressive Corinth Canal. Continue to Lavrion in Athens, and board the cruise ship. (BB/D) Cruise departs at 9:00PM



This morning, you'll reach Santorini at 7:00AM. Santorini is truly a spectacular sight with its steep red cliffs and shades of black, with its whitewashed houses perched atop. At 6:30pm, you will depart for Izmir, Turkey. (BB/L/D)


Sun/28 MAY:

Arrive in Izmir, Turkey's second largest port at 8:00AM for a full day's visit.

EXCURSION INCLUDED: Visit the ancient city of Ephesus, where you'll discover the eternal relics of the Hellenistic, Roman and Christian eras (guided tour of the archaeological site is included). Depart Izmir at 9:00PM (BB/L/D included onboard)


Mon/29 MAY:

Arrive in Nafplion, Greece at 9:00AM, for another full, leisurely day. This city is tinged with Italian influences and dominated by 2 fortresses: Acronauplia and Palamidi, (BB/L/D onboard), departing at 9:00PM


Tue/30 MAY:

Arrive Chania, Crete's second largest city at 8:00AM.  

EXCURSION INCLUDED: Discover the landscapes that are characteristic of the west coast of the island, followed by a visit to an olive oil producer. Depart Chania at 6:00PM (BB/L/D onboard).


Wed/31 MAY:

Arrive Rhodes, Greece, the island of the knights at 8:00 AM.

EXCURSION INCLUDED: Medieval tour featuring the Acropolis of Lindos, and the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knight of Rhodes. (BB/L/D onboard)

Depart Rhodes at 5:00PM


Thu/1 JUN

Arrive Cesme, Turkey at 7:00AM. Cesme is one of the Aegean's main seaside resort. Depart for Mykonos at 1:30PM in the afternoon. North of the Cyclades archipelago (nicknamed Pearls of the Aegean), Mykonos is a must-see for its windmills and beaches. (BB/L/D onboard). Arriving in Mykonos this evening at 7:00PM, you will catch the beautiful sunset of the Greek Islands, before setting ashore for some evening dining if you wish, or sit in one of the local tavernas for some lively music.


Fri/2 JUN: Departing Mykonos at 3:00AM, you will arrive in the early morning back in Athens at Lavrion port approximately 9:00AM. From the port, you will be transferred to your Athens hotel for 3 nights (Breakfast included each day).


Sat/3 JUN: Athens, Greece

Enjoy free time to explore the many facets of Athens, the cradle of European culture with its sacred Acropolis atop a craggy hill - symbol and jewel of the classical era. Athens is a city of undeniable charm; its always bustling colourful districts, its numerous museums and its open-air ancient sites are an absolute must-see.


Sun/4 JUN: Athens, Greece. Free time or take a city tour on your own.


Mon/5 JUN: Athens, Greece to Toronto. You will be transferred from your Athens hotel back to the airport for your return flight which departs at 11:20AM, arriving in Toronto at 3:05PM the same afternoon.

DAY 1: Toronto or Montreal • Prague

Flight to Prague via Montreal.


DAY 2: Prague

Arrive in Prague and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the city at your leisure. (D)


DAY 3: Prague

Begin the day with a guided visit of Stare Mesto, Prague’s Old Town. Discover Republic Square, the Municipal House, the Powder Tower, the Old Town City Hall and its Astronomical Clock, and the Church of Our Lady before Tyn. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided visit of Mala Strana, the Baroque neighbourhood nestled at the foot of the castle and the famous Charles Bridge. Continue to the Church of Our Lady Victorious and see the Church of St. Nicholas (exterior). (BB)


DAY 4: Prague • Cesky Krumlov • Ceske Budejovice (200 km)

Depart for South Bohemia and discover the stunning, picturesque city of Cesky Krumlov, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. Visit the castle overlooking the city. (BB)


DAY 5: Ceske Budejovice • Telc • Trebic • Brno (200 km)

Depart for Moravia in the morning and stop in Telc, whose historic centre was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. Tour the city and its wonderfully preserved town square before continuing to Trebic, a small town recognized by UNESCO in 2003. Visit the Basilica of St. Procopius and walk through the Jewish Quarter, which features more than a hundred well-preserved buildings like synagogues, the Jewish Town Hall and the Rabbi’s home. Set off for Brno, the capital of Moravia. (BB/D)


DAY 6: Brno • Lednice-Valtice • Bratislava (150 km)

Depart for Lednice-Valtice, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. Visit the Lednice Castle and enjoy a boat ride along the Dyje River, which crosses the park to the minaret. Disembark for a stroll in the magnificent gardens, and end the day with a visit to the Valtice Castle cellars for a tasting of local wines. Continue to Bratislava. (BB)


DAY 7: Bratislava • Vienna • Bratislava (160 km)

Depart for Vienna. Housing a wide array of architectural treasures, Vienna’s historic centre became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. Panoramic tour of the famous and elegant Ringstrasse boulevard that surrounds the historic centre and is lined with the city’s most important monuments, including the Vienna State Opera, city hall and Museum of Fine Arts. In the afternoon, visit the Schönbrunn Palace. Nicknamed

the Versailles of Vienna, this former imperial summer residence has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. (BB)


DAY 8: Bratislava • Olomouc (220 km)

In the morning, visit Bratislava’s city centre, characterized by medieval towers and imposing 20th century buildings. Discover the charming, pedestrianized historic centre, with its colourful houses, cobbled squares, Gothic churches, St. Martin’s Cathedral and beautiful blue Art Nouveau church. You’ll also see the Slovak National Theatre and the Grassalkovich Palace, residence

of the Slovakian president. In the afternoon, depart for Olomouc, whose Holy Trinity Column in the central square is recognized by UNESCO. (BB/D)


DAY 9 Olomouc • Litomysl • Kutna Hora • Prague (260 km)

Brief visit to Olomouc’s two main town squares in the morning. Continue to Litomysl to discover its Renaissance castle decorated with sgraffito

and recognized by UNESCO in 1999. Then, on to Kutna Hora, one of the biggest silver producers in medieval Europe designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. Visit St. Barbara’s Church and the 18th century Italian Court. Return to Prague. (BB)


DAY 10: Prague

Visit the Hradcany district and Prague Castle. Walk to the magnificent Loreta and Hradcany squares, surrounded by splendid Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo palaces including the Archbishop’s Palace. Discover Prague Castle’s three courtyards and the main nave of St. Vitus Cathedral, and admire the Old Royal Palace and St. George’s Basilica. Afternoon at leisure. (BB)


DAY 11: Prague

Enjoy a day at your leisure, followed by a folkloric evening including a farewell dinner, dance performances and traditional music. (BB/D)
