DAY 1: Toronto or Montreal • Venice

Direct flight to Venice.


DAY 2: Venice (Mogliano Veneto)

Arrive in Venice. Meet your guide, transfer to your hotel and enjoy time at your leisure for the rest of the day. In the evening, join your fellow

travellers for a welcome dinner. (D)


DAY 3: Venice (Mogliano Veneto)

After breakfast, travel by vaporetto (waterbus) to St. Mark’s Square, where your local guide will begin your walking tour of the city. Visit the Doge’s Palace (exterior), Bridge of Sighs (exterior) and St. Mark’s Basilica (exterior). Enjoy an afternoon of shopping at your leisure or take part in an optional excursion ($) to the islands of Murano and Burano. (BB/D)


DAY 4: Venice (Mogliano Veneto) • Montecatini Terme (285 km)

Depart for Montecatini Terme in the morning. On arrival, enjoy some free time to experience this world‑renowned spa town. (BB/D)


DAY 5: Montecatini Terme • Florence • Montecatini Terme (102 km)

Depart for Florence in the morning. On arrival, take memorable photographs during a stop at Michelangelo Square. Then enjoy a half-day

sightseeing tour of Florence and visit its cathedral (exterior), Giotto’s bell tower (exterior), Baptistery (with its famous doors) and Piazza della Signoria. Enjoy some free time before returning to Montecatini Terme. (BB/D)


DAY 6: Montecatini Terme • Assisi • Rome (390 km)

Depart for Assisi and explore this fascinating medieval town at your leisure. In the afternoon, travel to Rome, the Eternal City,

where you will spend the next three nights. (BB)


DAY 7: Rome

After breakfast, watch 2,000 years of history unfold before your eyes during a guided sightseeing tour that includes the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Fountain of the Four Rivers (Piazza Navona). Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. In the evening, join your fellow travellers for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. (BB/D)


DAY 8: Rome

Spend a day discovering more of the Italian capital at your leisure. (BB)


DAY 9: Rome • Toronto or Montreal

Transfer to the airport for your return flight. (BB)
