DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1: Depart Canada
Fly to Dublin.

Day 2: Welcome to Dublin - County Louth (approx 75 kms)
From the Dublin airport, pick up your rental car and head to your hotel in the County Louth area. Spend the rest of your afternoon exploring the area.
Accommodations: Bellingham Castle 4* (or similar)

Day 3: County Louth - County Antrim/Belfast (approx 90 kms)
Today, head to Belfast and take the time to discover the city and its rich history. (B)
Galgorn Manor Resort and Spa 4* (or similar)

Day 4: Country Antrim/Belfast - Giant's Causeway - County Derry (approx. 173 km)
Leave Belfast and drive along the Antrim Coast, to the impressive Giant's Causeway. Continue on through the Portrush and Portstewart to arrive in Derry. (B)
Beech Hill Country House 4* (or similar)

Day 5: County Derry - Glenveagh National Park - County Donegal (approx. 119 km)
Today, take the time to discover Ireland's breathtaking wild landscapes in Ireland's second largest national park. (B)

Day 6: County Donegal - Wild Atlantic Way - County Mayo (approx. 97 km)
Drive along the Wild Atlantic Way and enjoy the scenery of Ireland's very own Surf Coast, then continue towards County Mayo (B)

Day 7: County Mayo - County Galway (approx. 130 km)
Travel to County Galway and visit the stunning Connemara region. (B)

Day 8: County Mayo - County Meath (approx 206 kms)
Stop to explore Lough Key Forest Park, then continue on through the Boyne Valley to County Meath. (B)

Head to the Dublin airport to return your rental car and board your flight home. (B)

    Credit card at commencement of rental is mandatory – to cover toll fees, speed cameras, parking offences, etc. Credit Card deposit required at destination (unless Super Cover SDW is purchased). Funds will be blocked but not charged to the credit card.
    Damage Excess Deposit Hold on CC (Non waivable excess): For (C), (D) & (F) cars: 2000 EUR; for (P), (G) & (T): 2,500 EUR.
    Subject to change without notice. The previous amounts will be blocked (not charged) on renters' credit card unless the Super Cover (SDW) is purchased at destination by credit card.

    If driver does not meet minimum age requirements, young driver surcharge of 26EUR per day will be charged at destination. Please contact us for more information for customers over the age of 75 at time of rental.

  • Travellers should always cover their shoulders and legs when visiting some religious sites.
  • In Europe, hotel rooms are generally smaller than in North America. There are rarely two double beds in a room. Triple rooms usually feature one double bed and one single bed or three single beds or one double bed and one foldaway bed or two single beds and one foldaway bed.
  • Some types of sports equipment, including golf bags, etc., are not accepted in the rooms. They have to be kept in a specific area, which is usually locked.
  • All hotels provide towels; some do not offer face cloths.
