Day 1        Depart Canada
Fly to Athens.

Day 2        Welcome to Athens
Upon arrival in Athens, check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring Athens at your own pace. 
Hotel for the next 3 nights: Titania Hotel 4* 

Days 3 & 4    Athens: At leisure
Enjoy two full days in Greece's largest city, steeped in history and charm. Your package includes a tour to the Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum. Or, you can independently visit the Plaka (oldest part of Athens) and imagine life in Athens hundreds of years ago.

Day 5        Athens - Classical Greece Tour: Corinth Canal - Epidaurus - Nafplio - Mycenae - Olympia (approx. 265 km)
After breakfast, embark on your four-day tour of Classical Greece. On your way to Olympia, stop at the Corinth Canal, then continue to Epidaurus with its fourth-century B.C. theatre. Next, stop at Nafplio, a modern seaside resort and old town. The last stop of the day is the archeological site of Mycenae, the city "rich in gold" of the ancient poets. Continue to Olympia for the night

Day 6        Classical Greece Tour: Olympia - Delphi (approx. 240 km)
After breakfast, visit Ancient Olympia, the site of the Ancient Olympic Games. Visit the sanctuary of Olympian Zeus and the Archaeological Museum of Olympia ($). Continue towards Delphi, passing through the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos and Itea.

Day 7        Classical Greece Tour: Delphi - Kalambaka (approx. 228 km)
Enjoy a guided tour of Delphi. Located on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, Delphi is the home of the sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians and the Delphi Museum. After your tour, depart for Kalambaka. Enjoy dinner at your hotel.

Hotel: Grand Meteora Hotel 4* 

Day 8        Classical Greece Tour: Kalambaka - Meteora Monasteries - Athens (approx. 354 km)
Visit the breathtaking monasteries of Meteora. Perched on huge granite rocks, the monasteries seem to be suspended between earth and sky, providing a magnificent view. Each monastery contains priceless historical and religious treasures. Next, travel towards Athens via Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae where a stop will be made to visit the memorial of Leonidas and the brave 300 Spartans. Return to Athens for the night.

Day 9        Athens - 3-Day Cruise: Mykonos
Transfer to Piraeus port to board your 3-day cruise. Arrive in Mykonos and spend the evening exploring this lovely island at your own pace.

Day 10        Cruise - Kuşadasi: Shore Excursion - Patmos
Arrive in Kuşadasi early in the morning and head out on an excursion to Ancient Ephesus. Next port of call is Patmos. Stroll through the picturesque town or join an optional shore excursion to the Monastery of Saint John and the Grotto of the Apocalypse.

  • Kuşadasi Shore Excursion - Ancient Ephesus Through the Ages: Explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site and see relics from Hellenistic and Roman eras. Stroll through the ancient city and see the Agora, the Temple of Hadrian and the Library of Celsus. End the day at the Grand Bazaar in Kuşadasi.

Day 11        Cruise - Crete: Shore Excursion - Santorini
After an early morning arrival in Crete, embark on a bus tour to the Minoan Palace of Knossos to see relics of Minoan civilization from thousands of years ago. In the afternoon, set sail for magical Santorini and be greeted by legends of time past.
