The vibrant capital of Greece has plenty to offer, from historic landmarks to trendy rooftop terraces. Wander through thousands of years of history at the Acropolis ($), or check out the shops on Ermou and Kolonaki streets. Stroll through the picturesque streets of the Plaka, or visit one of Athens' many lively restaurants and bars for some local food and drink.

Day 4        Athens - Mykonos
After breakfast, transfer to the port of Athens for your ferry to Mykonos. Check into your hotel, then spend the rest of the day discovering the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos.

Days 5 & 6        Mykonos: At leisure
Explore the international hotspot of Mykonos, with its cubic houses, windmills and chapels, great shopping and art, and incredible nightlife.

Mykonos has been a popular destination for decades, and for good reason! Stroll through charming villages, gaze at the iconic windmills and chapels, or have a beach day. Explore the town's winding narrow streets, visit the Church of Panagia Paraportiani, or enjoy a drink in Little Venice.

Day 7        Mykonos - Santorini

Spend the morning at leisure before you transfer to the Mykonos port for your hydrofoil to Santorini. Check into your hotel, and spend the rest of your afternoon exploring beautiful Santorini, with white houses and the island's unique caldera, created by volcanic eruptions long ago.

Explore the volcanic island of Santorini at your own pace.

Santorini has it all, from great historical sites like the Museum of Prehistoric Thera in Fira ($), which hosts artifacts from the sites of Akrotiri and Ancient Thera, to fantastic beaches to excellent restaurants and bars. Don't miss Oia, said to be the most photographed spot in Greece, where you can take in the most incredible sunsets around.

In the afternoon, travel to Crete, Greece's largest island, known for important archaeological sites, lovely beaches and charming villages.
